Smart take action to save landlords from being fined!
New Smoke Alarm Testing & Fitting Service
On 1st October 2015 the Government announced that Landlords will be required by The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations to install working smoke alarms in their properties and this law requires landlords install smoke alarms on every floor of their property and to test them at the start of tenancy. Failure to comply can result in a fine of £5,000
We test the alarms using a SMOKE SABRE canister (at no extra cost) and If our clerk finds that they are faulty or not fitted in the property, we can now supply and fit a FireAngel detector which comes complete with a 10 year life battery for just £30 +VAT.
