In order to give you complete confidence and peace of mind in our service when visiting your property all our clerks have to pass a basic DBS check every three years. A copy of our clerks pass certificates are available on request.

Smart take action to save landlords from being fined!


New Smoke Alarm Testing & Fitting Service On 1st October 2015 the Government announced that Landlords will be required by The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations to install working smoke alarms in their properties and this law requires landlords install smoke alarms on every floor of their property and to test them at the start of tenancy. Failure to comply can result in a fine of £5,000

We test the alarms using a SMOKE SABRE canister (at no extra cost) and If our clerk finds that they are faulty or not fitted in the property, we can now supply and fit a Kidde combined smoke\\\\carbon monoxide voice alarm  which comes complete with a 10 year life battery for just £40 +VAT.


Legionnaires Disease

If you are a letting agent or landlord you must comply with the health risks associated with legionella under the Health and Safety at work Act 1974 (HSWA). Our clerks will perform Legionella flush in the property at the time of check in to ensure all pipework is free of stagnant water which is the main cause of the disease and is included in our service at no additional cost.
